TECHNOLOGY SELECTION

Choosing the Next PLM

From operational needs to a technology decision.

The context

Choosing enterprise software is rarely a feature-comparison exercise. The work started from the product-development process and translated operational needs into requirements that could be used to compare potential PLM solutions.

What I worked on

  • Mapped business and process requirements.
  • Structured evaluation criteria for potential solutions.
  • Compared vendors against the actual operating context.
  • Supported the decision-making process with a clearer view of trade-offs.
WHAT I TOOK FROM IT

Technology selection becomes much easier when the organization agrees on the problem before discussing the software.
